Thank you all for your love.

I cant hardly read all these comments without a tear dropping from my eyes. It gives me so much spirit to hear that people i dont even know are willing to share their love and gratitude with me. I appreciate the support from everyone, even my mother is appreciating you all. Which makes me feel great on the inside. LOL I try to keep a very high spirit about all of this so that way i will keep myself, my mom and everyone else who is worrying about me. my mother says im the only thing keeping her strong which is secretly why I keep a high spirit, so that she wont feel down or sad ha ha. so they are waiting on me to get off here to go get some food lol mainly a fast food burger since i havent eaten anything except a salad and a nasty hospital sandwhich in the last 20 hours so yes im hungry... once again thank you all for your support...

Tanner Walker peace out!!!

  1. Tanner staying positive is great for you and Angie. I believe Love, Hope, and Faith is going to get you well and home soon. Just reading all the comments I know you have lots of extra prayers going on for you. I was just wondering while reading your blog are you giving all the nurses hugs in Arkansas like you did in Texas? Are they as cute? Enjoy your burger! Love you, Cathy

  2. Tanner you are a stud. If I had more hair I would get a mohawk like yours but, as you so honestly pointed out, I don't have enough hair left on top.

You mentioned "nasty" hospital food, I guess that confirms everything I have always heard about hospital food.

Your encouraging words and attitude are not only beneficial for your mom but also for everyone of us who are following your journey.

Skype me when you get a chance.

  3. Hi Tannerboy. I promise I will cook you anything you want when you get home. Just tell me what you want. I know how that "nasty" hospital food can be. Your dad is on his way over here and I am going to feed him before he gets on the plane to come up there. I know he is anxious to see you. Arkansas is a beautiful state so hope you get to scope some of it out while you are there. We love you - Aunt Traci has been calling to check on you. I gave her this website too. Here is a great big hug (stay away from the nurses). God Bless you, Granny

  4. Hey Tanner, I just loved being able to read your notes too! You write as eloquently as your Mom, which is saying a lot. Was the "hotty nurse" still texting today? I'm sure she'll notice you soon, as cute as you are. Maybe try coloring your mohawk pink, LOL. I'd better get back to work before Bruce comes and gets me. Hope you enjoyed your lunch.
Big Hug for you and your sweet mama.

  8. Kids (and I know Tanner doesn't consider himself a kid - seventeen.....come on :o) have amazing recouperative abilities that we older guys (and ladies) really don't. I've seen that personally several times. My super pumped rockin' prayer group sends out a powerful prayer for amazing things to happen there and I do believe that they will. I hope (and believe) that everyone will soon look back on this as a scary but temporary "bump" in life. Frequently there are reports afterwards of people learning to fully and deeply appreciate their life and health so much more than they did before. I believe this will happen too. It's already happening to ME.

Get well, get out of there, and rock and roll.

  9. Hey Tanner. It's me Ian Turner. Your Mom can fill you in. I'll be following your progress and positive attitude shall be the stance. You look like a tuff dude, so should be a piece of cake and yep all those tests will give the game plan going forward. I have positive thoughts, and "it" has met it's match. Looks like someone may have got their wires crossed, and I'm working on that part to get it fixed. Remember there is a dude out there called the "grey ghost" and I've seen him many times. If this dude shows up ( he may be there lurking) be sure to kick his butt to the curb. You ain't got any time dealing with him. He is very weak once you get the upper hand. Set the stage now that you won't stand for it and tell him to move on. If I sound a bit nuts, I am. Also wanted you to know I send my messages (prayers) nightly upstairs attached to a big white bird (holy sprit)and this bird has been with me forever. It's pretty cool because my messages seem to get through every time. So believe me when I say the bird has been busy. Results are forth coming. So listen, hang tuff, and I look forward to meeting you in person. It will be a huge party!

  10. Hi Angie and Tanner! It's hard not to think about you all day. But that's a good thing because I truly care about you. Thank goodness for your blog and skype so that we can keep up with what's going on everyday. I'm praying that everything goes well and that the doctors will put a plan in place to help you get better. We all look forward to having you back in Texas.

  11. hi angela and tanner! Im so sorry this is happening to you. There is a reason, we dont know it yet, maybe your the key (since your so young). Im sure u bring hope to all of those older people that are going through the same thing you are. or at least u can bring some youth to the scene and livin it up! Not to much no wild parties. I will talk to some of the H.O. dr.s I work with about your situation and see if they have any useful insight. I work tomorrow. Tanner are you hurting much? You dont have to tough all the time, the nurse/doctors can fix that easy. Anxious to see what the PET scan outcome it. I will pray for you and your/our family. much love julie

  14. Hi Tanner. I am a friend of your Mom from SBSK. I feel like I know you by how much your Mom spoke about you. I also can't believe how grown up you look now. You have really matured over the past few years. I know this is a tough time, but I know you and Angie will pull thru this. Be strong. You have a ton of people that care and are pulling for you. Get well soon.
